Day 1 !

1st December – 1 day to go: Father God, please allow the team safe travel tomorrow as they make their way to Bathurst. Thank you for all of the fantastic plans that have been made – we ask Lord that you might work through the events powerfully to see the team trained in sharing your Word and many people saved in the hearing of it.
Thank you that you are sovereign over all things.
We wait in anticipation of the wonderful things you will do in the coming week.

Psalm 71:16 ‘I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.’

Day 2

30th November – 2 days to go: Pray for our Christians in the media mission team – that we may work well together in unity for God’s glory. Pray that in all our planning & running of events, Jesus would remain central & his name be glorified.

Romans: 15:5-6: ‘May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Day 3

29th November – 3 days to go: Heavenly Father, please be with all those who are preaching, giving an evangelistic talk or testimony on mission to know your guidance. Please help them to speak truthfully and faithfully from your Word and to share the way you’ve worked in their lives.

Mark 16:15 ‘He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.’

Day 4

28th November – 4 days to go: Lord God, please go ahead of us into the Bathurst community and prepare the hearts of those we will meet and share your Truth with. Help those on team to have confidence in sharing your Gospel during door knocking and the conversation stall in the CBD.

Hebrews 13:6 ‘So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

The Ultimate Relationship Week - sneak preview

Day 5

27th November – 5 days to go: Father, thank you for the Bathurst church families and for their generosity in providing places for the team to stay during Ultimate Relationship week. Please bless the relationships that are formed during this week. May the team members and host families encourage one another in the love of Christ.

Galatians 6:10 ‘Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.’

Day 8

24th November – 8 days to go: Dear God, with much gratitude I praise you for Liz & Paul (our wonderful chefs) who have agreed to serve our mission team by providing meals. Thank you for their willingness to provide the team with the sustenance needed to persevere through mission week. Please provide them a smooth path for bringing this all together.

John 4:34 "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

Day 9

23rd November – 9 days to go: Heavenly Father, I pray for the Media @ Metro event. Please help this night run smoothly and fill the seats with many from the Bathurst community. Thank you for the opportunity to reach people with your saving Gospel message through film.

2 Corinthians 2:14 ‘But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.’

Day 10

22nd November – 10 days to go: Lord, may the team’s visit to the Bathurst Nursing home bring great joy to those they will meet. Father, help those team members to share their own relationship with God and why it is of great importance.
Thank you for allowing us to enter the nursing home & for those who have put great care and thought into organising this visit.

2 Corinthians 5: 14-15 ‘For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

Day 11

21st November – 11 days to go: Father God, I pray for the men’s event ‘The Ultimate Man’ & the women’s event ‘The Ultimate Indulgence’. I pray these events will attract many men & women who are seeking to fill the emptiness inside them. Father, help those who come along to realise that Jesus is the only way.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
